Untangling threads
This talk explores the upcoming major release of Piscina, a JavaScript library for managing worker pools, and its new features. The talk also cover the basics of threads in JavasScript, including worker_threads in Node.js, and share a preview of features currently in development. Whether you're new to threading or an experienced user, this session will provide valuable insights into efficient workload management in JavaScript.

Run your project without drowning in configuration. For common scenarios, you can do, config-free via simple extensions using node's Customization API (you don't need to know what that is). It can be about as simple as telling node you want to use css modules and tsx: module.register('@nodejs-loaders/css-module')

SSR for Web Components, a dead end?
Web Components offer reusable, framework-agnostic UI building blocks, but how well do they work with Server-Side Rendering (SSR)? With evolving standards like Declarative Shadow DOM, new possibilities emerge, yet challenges remain. This talk explores strategies, trade-offs, and the future of SSR with Web Components, assessing their viability in enterprise environments.
