Andrew Young (he/him), creator of wwater.ca and founder of Vaccine Hunters Canada, shares his journey advocating for COVID-19 protection and awareness, which began at the onset of the pandemic in 2020.

By day, Andrew works as a web developer at a Canadian university. By night, he delves into coding and innovation, leading to the creation of civic tech initiatives such as vaccinehunters.ca and wwater.ca, which aim to assist and benefit Canadians.
Venue note:
- We're grateful to The Toronto Star for hosting us!
- You must RSVP at least one week in advance in order to attend in person. Registered in-person attendees will receive an email 1-2 days before the event, with a disclaimer to accept. Once you've accepted, you will then receive an email with a QR code. You will need to present this QR code in order to be admitted.
- On arrival at the venue, look for our greeter in the lobby. They will scan your QR code and show you to the elevators.
- We have capacity for 45 in-person participants. If you RSVP in-person and later can't make it, please change your RSVP status: click on "Attending" and change it to "Don't Attend" or "Attend Online."
