I Was Understanding WASM All Wrong! 🤯

What is bytecode? Don't all encodings use bytes? Is WASM just a replacement for JavaScript? And does it have anything to do with Rust?

Yuji Isobe (VP of Engineering at NearMe) will talk about his WASM journey. He will explain what he has learned, and point out things he misunderstood, so that you don't make the same wrong assumptions. Even if you're already familiar with WASM, his performance analysis will likely surprise you. Join us to learn why WASM is a giant leap forward, not just for the frontend but for computing in general. And last but not least, understand what it means from the perspective of Rust development.
